Joe Cullen took to Twitter to hit back at claims made by an opponent during Players Championship 14.
The Rockstar reached the quarter-finals in Wednesday’s Pro Tour event. Wins against Adrian Gray, Niels Zonneveld and Vincent van der Meer took him through to the last 16. There, Cullen beat Simon Whitlock 6-4 in a close match. His Players Championship 14 run was ended by Stephen Bunting. The Bullet ran out a 6-3 winner in Barnsley.
It appears that the Bradford thrower had a disagreement with one of his opponents. A surprising social media rebuke got to the heart of the issue.
“I’ve been playing professional darts for the best part of 10 years,” Cullen started.
“Dedicated my life to it, missed birthdays, special occasions and god knows what else.
